Bocas Investment Corp. is born
In 2019 BIC continued to develop a 17 hectare subdivision of the property into a residential project with 60 lots of approximately 1,100 square meters per lot. The developer added some community attractions to the property including a large private pool, bath house and recreation area for the residents to enjoy.
The entrance to the property has a private gate, sales office, a single story 4 bd./2 bath home, and shares the frontage with Isla Colon’s most unique and eco-educational attraction.
The Plastic Bottle Village and its Castle Inspiration was developed to be a museum and tourist destination to educate the residents and world travelers to the perils of single serve plastic bottles and the long term effects they have on the Earth.
In 2020 the owner made a decision due to health issues to put the project up for sale and spend quality time with his daughters and grandchildren back in Canada. The end of an adventure for one individual is the beginning for someone new.
